Andrew turned 27 this year! For his birthday I made a Chocolate Sheath Cake with a Maple Buttercream Frosting. And, not to brag, but it was especially delicious!
*Also I made the stencil for the cake with my lovely new Silhouette machine!*
Ari & Allison flew in last month to visit all us important people in Utah. It was so much fun to see the little babies playing and giving each other hugs. Sharing was a little difficult for the two, especially Lincoln. Can you blame him? Imagine be the only child, and one day another kid comes and invades all of your toys. He coped with it just fine, though.
While they were here we had a birthday bash for Lincoln & Ari's 2nd Birthdays! Kathleen did most of the decorating and preparation for it. I must say it looked fabulouso! Many of Lincoln's little friends showed up to help him celebrate. So, it was a very busy, very fun party!
Also while they were in town, we had a get-together with my family and Andrew's family. We ate food. All the babies were present. Jowling pictures were taken. The babies were very cute. All in all, it was quite the success.
On March 14th, Andrew turned a big 2-4! Woot! Woot! He feels pretty old, but I just don't see it. We went to a movie to celebrate! I made him a square shaped bowl out of clay, but it did not survive the firing process....So, his one request for his birthday was that we not take any pictures. Therefore, I have none to show you. However, the next day we took Lincoln to see some animals at Wheeler farm. So here are those pictures.Cute, huh?
After a long summer of Portland sun and fun, I'm back in Utah! Classes started this last Tuesday, and I'm pretty excited about the majority of them. I'm especially looking forward to my Theater Management class. I hope it can give me a better idea of what to expect in the theater business industry! I must admit that I am glad to be back to all of my clothes and 'stuff.' It's also nice to be back with friends. Tasha, Sarah, Mary and I moved into a new condo with our own washer and dryer!! We started out the year with a Birthday Party for Sarah! I love our new home!
Shawn and Kathleen threw me a 20th birthday party! The cake was fabulous with Barbie popping out of the top! Previously that night we saw Clap Your Hands Say Yeah in downtown Salt Lake! The concert was amazing and we came back to Shawn's for cake and party festivities! Shawn gave me striped long underwear that I absolutely LOVE! (I just don't understand people who live through the winters in Utah without the benefit of long underwear!) So now I'm two decades old and real life is about to begin again.....
