Our little Christmas

We woke up early on Christmas day (I mean early, really early) to see what Santa brought us then rush up to Salt Lake to see Ari & Lincoln open their Santa stuff!

So here is our cute little tree & stockings filled with delight

...and Scout clearly excited about whatever is in her stocking (spoiler alert: it's catnip!).

 And our Morning Christmas faces!

I'm taking that she wont hold still for a picture a good sign that she likes her new toy!

Hello, you!

In celebration of Valentine's Day, our Anniversary, my Birthday & Christmas,
Andrew bought me a beautiful Nikon D5100 DSLR camera!

It is the most lovely camera I've ever seen!

I cannot wait to take some photography classes.
I am still very much an amateur, but I'm excited to learn much more!

I suppose it is all my mom's "fault" for my constant picture taking. She was always the embarrassing mom who had to take multiple pictures at the birthday parties, recitals, plays, etc.
And I am now, of course, grateful for every single picture!

*It looks pretty great in my hands, if I do say so myself!*

Shout for joy!

We have a new place to live!
It is a basement apartment.
It has a washer & dryer.
It has a backyard, with a place to garden.
And comes with a puppy!
(okay, well really it's a dog, but we can play with her!)

I got to see & have lunch with this wonderful lady a couple weeks ago! Her family was spending the week up at Aspen Grove, so I stole her away for a few short hours.

I'm so excited to go home for Marcy's wedding at the end of this month! Not only will I be home for the wedding but I will get to see all my lovely friends who live far too far away....

From Funny Girl onto Annie Get Your Gun!

A few days ago I was asked to Stage Manage Annie Get Your Gun for the Scera! Like Funny Girl, it is a part of their outdoor season. The show runs end of July - mid August, then an additional run at BYU for Education Week! I'm pretty excited about this opportunity!

"Nervous, happy, scared, excited! You name it, I am it!"

However, me switching over to Annie Get Your Gun means that I am finished working with Funny Girl. It's so strange to leave the show now when they are about to begin tech rehearsals! I've been with it from the beginning; it's just so strange to put so much work into a show and not get to see it through...

But like I said this will be a very awesome opportunity for me: I am an official stage manager & the pay is better! Hopefully, I can continue working with the Scera on their upcoming season!

"I think I'm gonna like it here!"

.........Oh, wait. different Annie......

Opening Night!

AS YOU LIKE IT OPENS TONIGHT!!!
(Kinda)

*It is our first night with a ticketed audience, but it is still considered a dress rehearsal, or preview night.*

I'm so excited!

I have many family members coming tonight and tomorrow! (But if you still need tickets, let me know!)

Here is a little sneak peak into the production! These pictures were taken by Mike Handley at last night's dress rehearsal. Just take a moment to take in the beautiful designs! The costumes, set and lighting are just so awesome!
(And even though they are not showcased in these pictures, the prop and sound designs are fabulous as well!)

Good News!

I don't have to work tonight!!!
I'm going to the Festival of Colors tonight at the Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork.
I could NOT be more excited!

Craigslist Junkie

So the past few day I feel that I have been absolutely obsessed with Craigslist. There is a pretty substantial reason though: I have been searching for a new apartment and car!!! Yay! But nonetheless, my mind has been consumed with the possibilities of buying all kinds of new stuff off Craig's! I found the tenth season of Friends for only $15 and even free kittens (I didn't get one, unfortunately)! They have anything from arts & craft supplies to baby formula for sale! If this doesn't intrigue you...I don't know what else to say!!
