The Turkey

Andrew and I cooked a turkey for my work party! It turned out a little dry, but definitely delicious. The only aid we had at our disposal were the useless instructions on the turkey bag, and a YouTube video! I must say, for first-timers, we did a pretty professional job! We even finished it off with ribbon to hold the turkey legs together (for modesty and presentation).

EEK!!!

I'm starting to realize that this semester is almost over and I have a lot of work I need to do! I have papers, and projects, and busy work assignments (which get old after 8 consecutive weeks)! Now, not all of these assignments are due at once but they are all pretty big deals, counting for a high percentages of my grades, and demanding lots of time! I think I'm just now starting to feel the stress of this semester's workload...

October 31st

Of course I had to work on Halloween, but with this group, how could you not have fun sitting in the box office for 4 hours?!

I spent my actual Halloween night trick-or-treating with Lincoln the monkey, who already fully understands the concept asking for free 'yum yums.'

Afterward, I went to a party with Kathleen (or shall I say, "Pippie") and a few of her friends.

Carolyn and Dan's Party

Andrew's sister hosted a wonderfully spooky Halloween party. We were graciously invited and had so much fun. Everyone had great costumes, and here's proof:

"I don't think we're in Kansas anymore."

Who knew that Colonel Mustard and Ms. Peacock were in on it together all along?

*Oh, and I may have stolen a few pictures! Thank you Jessica & Carolyn!*

Tribute to Ari

Shawn and I found these costumes on our adventure of finding our real Halloween costumes! ... Maybe next year....

Preparing for Halloween

I went to Salt Lake to play with one of my favorite nephews, see my sister, and gather materials for this year's Halloween costume! Lincoln is so advanced in pumpkin naming; the big one is "Daddy," the middle-sized is "Momma," and the smallest pumpkin is "Baby." Oh, and he is also a believer in multi-funtional pumpkins: not just pumpkins, but a drum set too!
